Hi folks

Got a problem with a Thermo King SB III SLE.

The engine cuts out on high water temp because the radiator fins have corroded.

On this particular unit the radiator and condenser coil are seperate components. I have in the past fitted a new combined cond/rad to a similar unit which involves removing all the panels, top coping and waist band etc.

The question is; can the rad be changed without disturbing the condenser coil. It does look as if the refrigerant pipes will have to be disconnected, but I dont know if there is sufficient clearence to get that rad out with the condenser in place.

Any help would be much apreciated.

To be honest I have only done this on a scrap unit but I think it can be done without removing condenser if your carefull?? I could be wrong but I sure would give it a shot!
