Hi,

I have a renault Kangoo with a Zanotti F10d fridge unit. I've had the van for 3 years with no problems until recently. The unit will not drop below 5 degrees celius and I need to run much cooler.

I replace both fans on the unit.
I have had the unit re-gassed to no avail. The guy re-gassing confirmed the unit was compressing ok and suggested I change the expansion valve.
I have had the Expansion valve changed and still the unit will not cool properly.

Any suggestions?

[edit] Please post in the correct section, I've moved it.

Check both the coils are clean, not just the outside face but right through..

maybe you have too much oil inside the installation.

Is the f10d definatly a freezer unit as some of the zannoti units are only chillers capable of +5 degrees.

I mean no offence but perhaps you should have someone who knows what they are doing look at it? Sounds like you have waisted allot of money. If you could hook up gauges and tell us what you see, we may be able to help but I'm thinking you are not able?
I would love to help but....

sometimes with these probs its best to hook up the gauges ,rest them on the seat drive it and observe,as abbs says give more info gauge readings air on air off evap readings, the crystal ball broke.

Did you ever get the unit to run properly?

Did it ever run at the temp you wanted?

How big is the cold room?
