Hi i m newbie to this forum hope all the pro n expert can help. If the question been ask b4 please lead me to the link. Thanks

My problem is... i have converting a AC compressor to a aquarium chiller. everything is fine, compressor is running. But after running for about 5-15 minute the connector is blocked the gas to flow though. Open it to see and there is a ice up inside. Been told that is over top-up the gas but decrease from 70 to 30 but the problem insist.

Appreciate for all your valuable input.

Thanks

If ice inside system then air is present.

You need to evacuate the system until it is dry before charging with refrigerant.

Thanks Brian_UK.
Sorry to ask how to evacuate the system? i mean the distance from the compressor unit to the dip in coil is about 30ft.

Use a vacuum pump to vacuum the system.
What size AC unit, and what size aquarium, circulation pump, or coil directly in the aquarium, what size coil .......
