was your course C & G 2079 or citb equivalent ?, i would be suprised to learn that anyone without any knowledge at all could pass the C & G 2079, the citb as i understand it is an open book exam, so anyone could pass with half a brain, as the answers are given to you. I passed the 2079 but i wouldnt say it was a walk in the park.

I think they will come unstuck very quickly when they get on the job.;)

But give them their due, they have passed just as much as you or anybody else has or is hoping to in the future.

At least they are starting from the right point and you never know some of them may go on to become better engineers than most of us could ever hope to be.

Let them get on with it.
