View Full Version : Is this Prestcold system worth anything?

Can I pick some refrigeration brains?

I have purchased an ex-Blood Service truck that has on-board a Prestcold / Copeland refrigeration system that is no longer required. It's old but still in good working order. The set point is at -31C.

1) What is it?
2) Is it easy to get it drained?
3) Is it worth anything?

Here is the compressor at the front of the body. It runs on single-phase 230V at 11.5A:

question 1 answer, a refrigeration system

ask yourself the question would you be willing to spend your goold old hard earned cash on it?

yes your right, they would give thier eye-teeth, but i bet they wouldn't give money, any farmer i have worked for are as tight as a duck's arse:D

Yes. It's just been drained and I'm trying to dismantle everything today.
