Shell and tube Heat exchanger Design

Hi!!! everyone

I wanted to understand how complete designing of a shell and tube heat exchanger U-bundle type is done.

I want to know what are the thermal as well as mechanical design calculations required for the designing of U-type S & T Heat exchanger

Any help (explanation, text, references etc,) will be grateful.

You want an awful lot of things, I would suggest that you attend college or beginning reading refrigeration design text books.

edit: I see that you are a student, perhaps you should start research on your subject matter.
