Dear all,

Please help me with the following design:

I needed to design a room with the room size 10 ft x 20 ft, with ceiling height standard at 10 ft (approximately 3 meters)

I wanted to maintain the room temperature at 16C constant.

How and what information I needed to do the calculation for the above condition?

YOu shall need to find out the product load if any.

For that you need product loading rate, its incoming temp & cooling period.

That shall take you to the total heat heat load needed & select the unit for matching capacity.

Dear all,

I appreciate all your reply here but can you guys try to give me an example on what I needed to find in order for me to solve the problem?

For example, product loading rate, incoming temp, cooling period..

I needed to maintain the temp at 16C and the design conditions is probably:

Indoor DB = 27 C
Indoor WB = 19 C
Outdoor DB = 35 C

Please help... Thanks

You will ave to provide a lot more information if you are get help from the members.
What is the room to be used for?
Is this a process facility is so what equipment is in the room?
Are there windows, if so which way do they face?
Is a ground floor if not how many floors are below it?
What is the roof design?
How many people are in the room.?
Do you have a RH you need to maintain in addition to your 16C DB?
The more detail you can provide I am sure there will be lots of help from this forum.

Is standard a/c meant to hold rooms below 18? MHI units dont go any lower than this. Obviously air off temps are lower but is it sustainable?
