I have 3 phases and ground from generator. And i have 3 wires reaching from generator to cabin. I dont now where they connect in the generator

Hi photon62,

Do you only have 3 wires coming from the cabin? There should be 2 switches in the cabin, one green (on/off) and one red (defrost).

There should be more wires going to the generator. Some of these are linked directly to the unit in the generator terminal box.

For generator excitation you need a minimum of:

24 or 12vdc from the vehicle on terminal 4 of generator terminal block. The generators are different depending on if 24v or 12v. The difference is the value of the excitation resistance.

Ground to terminal 5 of generator terminal block.
