Has anyone had performance issues with a chiller fitted with hot water recovery heat exchanger?

performance problems? or the machine was too small for the heat load you have

Hi Alan, in recent times I have seen many systems where the cooling performance has been reduced by the introduction of heat recovery (de-superheater).
This has become apparent in more modern installs.

Hi Allen J.
Welcome to the forum and we go back a long way, like Zonepak 351 G Sth Rd.
Heat recovery is relative to discharge super heat, not alot in reality, between 15 and 20 %, over that the system cycle goes ballistic, and system balance goes out the window.
