USA Compatible with India.....?????

Are fittings made in India (or US)
compatible and interchangeable
with Condensing Units and Refrig. Cylinders made in US (or India) ???

For example, would a Yellow Jacket from US work with a Vacuum Pump and Refrigerant Cylinders made in India ?
Or vice-versa?

Are the interfaces standard across the world ?

Is there a Technical Specifications for the Treads?

Sorry, I am a new here. (I ask about the spec for threads so that if the Tread Specs are same in US and India, then I am assured of full compatibility and interchangeability.)

The threads for access ports etc, 1/4", 5/16" etc are worldwide standard.
