Refrigeration is taking over my life and I like it but to keep myself sane I must find a hobby,I,ve narrowed it down to cooking or astronomy. Before I start I like to have the best equipment but a new kitchen and appliances is a little expensive. So asronomy it is.I,ve been looking at the sky watcher astronomical telescopes,if anyone could give me some advice on what model would best suit a beginner I would be very gratefull

Hi mark,

When do you find the time?

You are not one of these 9 to 5 people, are you ?;)

I agree, its a lovely game, Have you tried it on sand? :D

I'll stick to mine -- refrigeration.

My hobby is my motorbikes.
with them being oldish two strokes, they need appx 1 hour's maintainance to every hour riding.
that's what i tell the wife anyway.

i can tinker in my garage for hours and hours. the petrol fumes do wonders for clearing your head of the days nonsense.

cheers

Hi Bernard,

When I come to think about it, England is not the place for such a hobby, the sky are 95% of the time covered with clouds.

Golf seems to be ok.

Hi Bernard,

What donkeys? Where?

These are camels in the picture.

I do not live by the sea but a 120 KM west, in the middle of nowhere, a bit to the left.

Our sky are clear at nights for over 300 nights a year.

Bring your telescope next time you come.
