Remove the plug from the valve.
It's the easiest way and what you want to disable it?

I think that if i remove the plug the valve will stay close.
I wont to disable it from the menu of the micro like the previous SL-400 non sr2 units.

why do you want to disable the etv?
Wait till the ETV is at 800 full open, then pull the fuse out.
You'll have to then fit a throttling valve to the compressor, which is a simple swap.

why do you want to remove ETV dont forget that ETV is the reason you get this kind of power pull down at temps over 0 C .....

you cant ,the software would see no valve and throw up fault code, the valve is there for a reason,if you do not want ETV then you need units made without it from factory

Modulation is only operational in continuous mode.

OptiSet.... FreshSet™, modulation can be turned off or on for different produce ranges.

FreshSet™ is an additional set of configurable parameters within the OptiSet program tailored for Fresh Produce. It is applicable for ETV based units using the Continuous Run mode.

This is the right answer.
DaButcher thank you.

You will need to go to svs test and select EVAC, this will open your ETV up.
Disconnect the harness.
In guarded access select ETV-no.

I presume this is a 'get you home' temp fix

if the valve is set fully open, what happens in heat or defrost ??.

it'll slug the compressor and overload the engine
Thats why you'd fit a throttling valve.

ou are right, liquid ***** will also enter into the compressor and can damage the compressor ..

Sorry for my bad english

How is "liquid slugging" related to the ETV? Not sure I have seen that? That valve controlls pressure not gas state. Am I wrong?
