Thanks a lot. I have never worked with this stuff before. This is on a self contained blast freezer with a 6 cylinder York recip. I can't thank you enough.

Worked in Naknek once myself. Is this one of the old PSER boxes?
13B1 is impossible to get now as I understand it. I know someone that might still have a bottle if you need some.

Yeah. I have 2 of the PSER blast freezers that still use the R-13B1. The other 4 freezers use R-22. My company just purchased this facility from the previous owner who went bankrupt. All of the equipment is in very poor condition. Apparently the previous owner could not afford to buy parts for the last couple of years. Every machine that I have is in need of serious repair. We are getting it done though.

OK , what is R-13B1.
Sounds like Carrene 13. Similar post around somewhere.

Hi from Norway.

R13B1 was banned for many Years ago in Europe as the worst of the types and followed by R503 which has a mix of 13 and 23. It seems like other parts of the world still hang on this refrigerant. For the last 10 Years I could not get a single gram for what so ever money I could pay for it.
Isceon make the 89 and that one can easily be used on 13B1 systems. The drawback is that it is a blend of 3 gases so a leak would make a problem.
