Does anyone have technical manual with refrigeration diagram for Daikin Altherma indoor units.
Also, could anyone confirm if it is there desuperheater or any other mean of heat recovery during cooling mode.

Isn't that for only UK based engineers? Or anyone is allowed to register.

I have heard of non-UK people registering, I tend to put in a Company name but my personal email etc.

There is also http://www.daikinac.com/residential/altherma-split.asp?sec=products&page=53 which may have some documents of use.

No answer jet!

I got quotation for purchase one system comprising of following:

Outdoor ERR016AY1
Indoor EKHBRD0165AY1
Tank EKHTS200A

Price is 10820€ (VAT included)

How is that price in comparison with your prices where you live.
It is price of small car!:eek:

Now I chasing Ciat Aqualis Caleo for price!
Does anyone have any experience with Ciat Aqualis Caleo?

For a size 16 system with a 200ltr tank, the price in the UK is around half of that

I've just purchased and fitted a size 14 system with 200ltr tank - purchase price circa £4.8k. still expensive compared to a gas fired boiler system

Ok, thanks!

I still waiting for Ciat price. Calculation takes long for this old guy.
I think he will include his TV subscription in that price at the end when it is finaly done.

I think that I am first person in this country who asked him for Aqualis Caleo.:D

Now I got one more option.
It is De Longhi AW HT
http://www.icsheatpumps.co.uk/docs/ICS_HT_AS_Data_Sheet.pdf

But I am not impressed with COP of only 2 when outdoor is -2 to -7°C.

Price of 0061 unit is 5500€ and tank of 200l additional 1300€
VAT excluded!

back to the original question No in cooling there is no desuperheater all the heat is dumped outside none of it can be used to usefully heat the cylinder etc. none of the ashpS AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT CAN DO THIS NOT UNTIL A 3 PIPE VRF OR VRV VERSION ARRIVES, MAYBEE NEXT YEAR .

GOOD LUCK

Depending on the application heat recovery is available from Daikin.
There are 2 types, low temperature Daikin Altherma connected to VRV3 and for high temperature applications there is the Daikin Altherma FLEX which will give you heating up to 80 degree flow, cooling down to 7 degree flow and when in cooling heat recovery for hot water is available.
