Are you planning to build them as part of the house or is it to be a very large refrigerator?

I have known people insulate one room and fit a window A/C but it wasn't ideal.

I am trying to built it as a 100 bottles celler , like ur home refrigerator , and i think the Lebanese market will be a good consumer of such a product

Sorry Butrous,

They called wine coolers and made all over the world for years.

Look here and see the amount of manufacturers,

What you CAN DO is become the Lebanon wine coolers first and only importer!

Good luck

Chemi :)

The business that i am trying to start guys isn't manufacturing of wine coolers ready to sale , i'm trying to establish a custom wine cooler business for villas and fancy homes , with decorative things like wood etc . . .
What i really need is some information on the mechanical and electrical cycle of such coolers , and technical informations

Hi Butrous,

Once you make up the place, caculate the heat load, divide by two and thats the optimal size.

I have made for two small wineries that keep the bottels (up to 50'000) in an undergrownd room 50 sq/m a unit 2.5KW, worked for two days at the first start. Once the bottels are cooled, once or twice a day fo a few minuts.

Insulation is 2m soil. evaporator fans only work with compressor to avoid heating.

Units work for three years now.

Boutros, What you are suggesting is a niche market in Malaysia and Singapore - basically retrofitting a room in house.

Maybe we can make some good business out of that :)
