Q no 1) What will be the effect if an oversized condenser condenser is used. I mean a 2Ton condenser is used in a 1TON system????

Q no 2) Secondly what will be the effect if a 2Ton compressor is used in a Ton system??

low head pressure ,system will work unstable:rolleyes:
very hi head pressure, system will work unstable:rolleyes: if the evaporator is small then you will be working on low suction as well- liquid slugging
this is info offhand there will be many more symptomes!!

Can you perhaps expand more on this part - oversize condenser? The low head-pressure part, I understand.

Where does the instability come from? Are you thinking on terms of driving pressure-difference across the orifice & possible hunting?

The system will be overcondensing resulting in an unstable supply of liquid at the tev inlet.
Low head pressure without a c/fan spped controller can contribute to low pressure trips certainly on cold days.
A 2 ton compressor on a 1 ton system will result in very high discharge pressure and overheating of the compressor providing it doesnt trip the HP safety first.
Are these theoretical questions or are you building a system like this?

i hope not,!!
