Just an enquiry for the antipodean members- What bolt thread patterns are mainly used in Oz ??

Know throughout the world a lot of compressors are UNC even if the rest of the plant is Metric..

Do you have the same variety of patterns that we have in th UK ??

back in the old days all of them, had to have range of whitworth af and metric spanners but somehow there is usually a bolt that nothing fits correctly.i cant think of any australian compressor manufacturers that still exist.
i would have to say our lot is the same as yours, three different threads on the one belt drive unit

OZ and NZ went metric back in the 60's so everything is metric, compressors are what they are from where the come from, Europe/ metric, USA whatever, Japan metric. China generally metric.

I find a 1/2", 5/16", 8, 10, 11, 13, 17, 18mm cover most of my everyday needs - along with 8" & 10" Bahcos! :D
