View Full Version : TCL E6 Error Code

Hi All, just wondering if anyone knows what a E6 error code on a TCL might be? The system runs fine for a few hours and then goes ou on this E6 error and shuts down.

Sorry I should have spelt a bit better and also put down that the model is a TAC-12CS/GM2 which is approximately 4 years old. I tried calling a melbourne number today for TCL and it was constantly enguaged and Castel who use to handle TCL for a while don't know the model or fault code.

Anyone know an old TCL dealer in Australia and or Queenslan that I can ring and ask about the E6 fault. thanks Darren

thanks aucooler they were no help as it is a unit that was prior to them taking on TCL. I was up there again today and it was out on E6 again so I have checked everything from the gas charge, sensors and also that it was on cooling. problem is it runs fine on heating and cooling and it will run for over 2 hours before the E6 error shows. I will even try to email TCL New Zealand tonight and see if they can help. I did suggest jut replacing the unit with a quality unit but they won't as the unit will be removed in approximately 10 to 18 months as the property is being demolished. Nomally I would change it or fix it if the customer is broke thanks Darren

I have E5 error in TCL model tac 50 flloor air condition
the unit is stoped. the service manual say Outdoor unit protected i check all thermistors are ok the fan capacitor its ok .
What can i do more ???

Jassu Skiathos ,the E5 code is a problem with the communication from indoor to outdoo unit .I have the same problem in my house in Greece .If you want to wright me ,please use this adress :info@haus-markos.de .
