Hi guys does anybody know how to increase the water flow (inlet) on a scotsman ac175 ice maker? machine has 2 moulds on the top, the mould on the left beside the evap sensor keeps icing up, replaced evap sensor and machine is level, water inlet pipe Ts and goes to the left and right mould but water decides to fly to the right so only drops come out the left side, the left side pipe is not blocked either, figure if i can increase the flow then both sides will get an even amount of water and will hopefully solve the icing up problem.

check for a restrictor on water inlet valve

probably best dismatling and cleaning with ice machine descalant. Water as refrigerant will always take the easiest path.

dont forget the water supply,if a filter is in line,a mesh screen may also be at the valve or in hose connections
