We are using a Hitachi chiller unit (model: RCUP90AUZ).
Problem is, refrigerant pipe line is condensing & now in Bangladesh humidity level is around 65.
Can we insulating the pipe line like other chiller unit?
If the answer in not then why?

Suction line from Evaporator to Compressor needs insualtion to prevent sweating of the refrigerant line. However the Liquid line need not be isulated as the temperature will be higher.

The insulation thickness should be to prevent sweating of the lines.

my question is why the supplier or installer did not do that?
is it not reqired or he just missed it?

hi , if a pipe is cold you can insulate it ,if the pipe hot , you can not insulate it

Bash. Insulation of pipes was probably not in the contract. So none was applied. C.D.

Bash maybe your supplier is not an HVAC contractor, they should have suggested and insisted that the suction line be insulated.

question that has condensed the pipe is the suction? INSULATING.

if the liquid line cycles fans

hi , if a pipe is cold you can insulate it ,if the pipe hot , you can not insulate it

Then what we have done with hot water, stem line, glass wool insulation?:)

It seems funny if suction line is not insulated
:)
