A Belgium guy, Thijs made a small piece of software to simulate a PID process for a AHU. It's free to download it.

I am intending to write some software to calculate PIDs for various ac components this year - considering most controls techs don't know how to, they mostly use imperical (ones that work on other systems) on subsystem and system components.

tnx for the link ... seems software is not working on Windows 7 Professional :confused: or maybe I'm doing something wrong ...;)

@Josip, have you read how it works Josip? An Excel file will open additionally? I will ask Thijs he joins this thread and tries to help you.
@Tesla, maybe you can contact Thijs to share information. Maybe you can use his experience so that you don't have to start from scratch.

@Thijs, not here for the moment...if you contact desA, I'm sure you both can learn from each other.

I wrote wrong .... cannot install program on my computer running on W'7 Professional ... seems it is working only with XP...

But I can be wrong....
