Charge an auto compressor with SEZ32 (Polyol Esters-POE) oil instead of PAG46 (Polyalkylene Glycols-PAG) can create problems ?

What is the refrigerant being used?

It's an automotive air conditioning compressor and use R134A

I run ester oil in my Automotive Applications using the Sanden 508 series compressors with No issues...

its especially nice for a retrofit where you can not get a complete 100% flush of oil out of the system unless you were to completely disassemble toe customers dash panel, etc..

whereas PAG would cause issues if left with older mineral oils....

I will say that POE is more moisture prone than PAG and often automotive shops dont do a proper vac-down.. (they use air-sourced Vac pumps and only leave them on for 5-10 minutes)...

to my knowledge sanden has been manufacturing compressors with pag oil for a few years at least.something to do with tighter machine tolerances and also under the impression that it is more hydroscopic than our usual oils.
