hi lads, can you give your views on a mini vrv 3 on r410a.
need to re-locate an indoor unit on daikin vrv3 S/N RXYQ10P7W1B 28 kw capacity cooling.
it will only move 2- 3 metes, which is best method, pump down or reclaim?
for pump down any special advise or proceedure.
best regards

I would briefer reclaiming the refrigerant to pump down. i know it is a long method comparing to pump down but it is reliable and time saving in the cases of service valve passing

ok in some units there is a proceedure in which automatically ref will be parked and then you front seat vales, rather than lp switch and manual pump down. that was the question?

The system should be fully recovered. No VRV 3 system can be pumped down without risk of damage to the compressors. Set "Refrigerant Recovery Mode". Mode binary 21 to open all valves within indoor and outdoor unit and leave power on until fully recovered.
