I am relatively new to the ice cream business. I own two Carpagiani UF 253 E soft serve machines with pump feeds. This morning I ran into a problem with one side of one machine after cleaning it and restarting. The pump will not build any pressure. The drive shaft is turning, the gear assembly is in proper order, and I have checked and replace the o-rings on the siphon, pressure relief valve and injector mechanism but to no avail. I am looking for ideas if anyone is familiar with this equipment or problem.

Try running the pump without the pump face, so you can actually see the "s" Gears are rotating fully and not slipping. Also check if there is play in the gears when they are inserted to the pump body, this would reduce pressure or provide none at all if they are badly worn.

If all other parts are in place then this will most likely be the problem.
