Technician who installed the 1T pansonic YC12JKY-1 that for simple FAN usage without Cooling I should use DRY mode.

When I used DRY mode I find a lot of water under drain pipe.

1. Does it mean that the DRY mode is not a simple FAN mode?

2. What will be the power consumption during DRY mode? Is is same as COOL mode or is it slightly less.

If you want simple FAN mode then use the FAN mode on the controller.

If you use DRY then the unit will attempt to maintain the current humidity level by running compressor for short intervals to remove moisture from the air without reducing the temperature.
