Mitsi Heavy High Wall With Error code

Hi

Ive got a customer with a SRK63ZE-S1 thats a 6KW 2 year old Misubishi Heavy Industry high wall unit. One of the LEDs on the front (marked as timer)internal unit is flshing a sequence of 7 flashes. Im told that means external fan failure. Problem is Im also told an LED should be on at the PCB on the external unit. But it is not, although I inspected it in bright sunlight. Anyhow Ive metered the fan and I think its OK has anyone had similar experience or indeed has an idea of what the heck is wrong. By the way it flashes in either cold or hot mode and the compressors starts up but eventually stops, the internal unitsl louvers shut up when the LED starts flashing.

New fan motor required, my friend. It will almost definitely have blown the fuse on the board as well. Problem is that the fuse is soldered to the board, so you will have to use some sort of piggy back arrangement with another fuse - or change the board as well.
