View Full Version : Freezing Glycol in a Tank

Can someone tell me, I have a Tank 2 x 1 x 1mtr and 75 ml insulation, There is 150ltrs of 40% glycol and 60% water approxmitly how much pipe and what size is required in the tank to get it down to -25 degrees. Im using R404a.
The Load is 1.3Kws@-35sst on R404a

You will be pushing the brown stuff up hill with a pointy stick to keep glycol fluid at -25'C. despite all the mixing graphs. This has been my experience anyway. Will probably be shot dead on the water by some guru. I will watch and wait for reactions
