This is an amazing new compressor, it has only one major moving part, it has no oil, and if it runs at 70% load all the time will pay for itself in less than a year!

Introducing the TURBOCOR compressor.

• Oil-Free Technology
Improved efficiency
Sustainability.
The end of routine oil changes
• Low Noise
Is so quiet, that with typical background noise, you can’t hear it run.
No need for expensive acoustic screening
• Start-Up Current - Only 2 AMPS!
Redefines soft-start
Reduces requirements on switch gear
No more peak demand issues surrounding large tonnage refrigeration compressors
• Low Weight - typically 1/5 that of a 300kW screw or reciprocating compressor
Ease of servicing and replacement
Reduces the structural requirements of support frames.
• DC Inverter - Variable Speed Drive
Improved load control
Excellent part load efficiency
• One single moving part
Reduced friction losses
Less to go wrong!

Some of the features;

• Integrated Compressor Design (ICD)
• Excellent full load energy efficiency
• Significant energy savings to be gained with part load operation compared to all other refrigerant compression systems
• Virtually no mechanical wear
• No oil to degrade the system over time
• Low noise
• Low vibration
• Low maintenance costs
• Full monitoring capability local and remote
•The compressor’s speed ranges from 18,000 to 48,000 RPM.
•This compressor only draws 2 amps to start compared to 500 to 600 amps on a typical screw compressor
•The Compressor’s speed adjusts automatically to match the load and operating conditions for maximum efficiency.
•The slower the compressor’s speed, the greater the energy savings.
•The magnetic bearings have less than 0.2% energy loss due to friction.
•Plus, they are the key to a cost effective “Oil-Free” design.
•Increases equipment life through elimination of wear surfaces.
•Field and factory tests have shown that the Turbocor compressor provides a 20-30% reduction in power consumption per annum.
•Daytime air conditioning 25% winter load payback = 4/5 years
•24 Hour air conditioning 25% winter load payback = 3 years
•24 Hour continuous 70% year round load payback <1 year

Sorry Brian, TURBOCOR have their own website http://www.turbocor.com/literature/pdfs/articles/frictionless.pdf
We supply and install geoclima chillers to the UK and have been given the opportunity to deal with this new technology...

Hi Al,

It is for new technologies.
If you will look back, we have discussed the Turbocor compressor and if you have something new on the subject, we would love to read it.

When folks advertise here, it has a bad taste. Thats all ;)
