Hello

I had water leak into my air-water heat pump and water flew into the gas
tubes.
Today I opened the tubes and other parts and cleaned them from water.
But how can I clean the whole system even from water vapour? With N2
gas? Should I vacumize the whole system and fill with gas or should I
let the gas flow through the system?

Thanks for help and suggestions!

Change oil compressor
Keep the system under vacuum and heat all the parts you can with your brazing torch.

Leave the system for at least 24 under vacuum.

after you start and recharge, check compressor oil for acidity.
Install the largest drier on the liquid line.
Change it after one working day and again after a week.
Check again for acidity.

a vacrometer is a good place to start,it will indicate if moisture is present assuming that the system is tight

hello

my input is I have dehydrated a lot of wet systems and heat is the key to evaporate all the moisture from the system. In estonia winter time can you take unit into a heated area ie boiler room and start evacuating there,

otherwise if its cold and especially freezing outside feel you have no chance to dry it.

nitrogen will help but its the ambient temp you have to fight.
