Hi Guys,

I am told there are now a couple of companies who remanufacurer scolls.

Does anyone have details of any of these companies

Masu****a and LG both produce scroll compressors. I also believe that Samsung in Korea have a very good development on scroll's.

Many more manufacture scrolls but the question waés re-manufacturing.

I think it's not possible Raymond, because you need very special machinery to re-manufacture the scroll itselfs, unless you mount a new one. Copeland doens't provide only the scrolls, I can imagine that others will do the same.
Making a scroll is done with very high precision machinery, special made fort his purpose they told me at Copeland.

Somesthing besides: Benchmark is making huge advertisements these days that their scrolls are much better than Copeland.

Well, at NTC carrier here in lebanon we used to refurnish many types of compressors but not scrolls

there are Copeland \Danfoss\Darkin\Sanyo manufacture scrolls.we use copeland and danfoss. both of them have aet up factory in China.

Those of Danfoss are in fact Maneurope compressors.

ThermaCom Ltd in Reading or Nottingham offer reman on Copelands.

The Maneurops should be available at some point in the future too.
