I have an old site with an old VRF R22 system

One room with 2 x PLFY P20 VLMD in it controlled by a standard PAR controller is intermitently switching it's self on almost daily.

Is this likely to be a controller fault being as there are 2 units effected or could it be a pcb board in one of the cassettes?

There is no centralised controllers at all, whole system has individual controlers in each room and there are 12 units off this condensor.

Cheers guys! :)

Suggest use the engineers mode to do a survey of each remote controler to see that no other remote controller in the system is also controlling the 2 units.

OK, I'll try that on my next visit.

However this system has been in and running OK since 98 so I would of thought any configuration issues would have come to light long before now?

It's only recently started happening over the last few weeks acording to the girl in that office.

She states she's just working away and then she hears the fans come on and when she looks over to the wall mounted controller that it it's also come on too.

Any other suggestions before I next visit would be much appreciated!
