Dixell is a good starting point.

Yes Divell is good, carell is good but why you want to replace Trane controller. It's works very good and it's made for this system. If you are sure to replace trane controller with dixell I can help you with documentation for dixell.
Can I ask you what's a trouble with trane controller?

Hello danielch, I thing the rtaa217 controller si UCM-CLD Trane adaptive control and the fault : A0 is zone temp sensor; fault : A1 is outdoor air temp sensor. Can you check resistance of sensors and the wired conection. This trane controler is good and work. I thing if it's work don't replacement. I'll send you e-mail with dixell documentation for control screw compressor, but I have a question how much are circuits, compressors, evaporaors. Is it heat pump, is it with electronic expansion valve ( I thing it isn't ) and what you want do this controler.

If you're game, and got some DDC people in your crew, why not stick your own DDC in and you can get out whatever data you want.

I've done a couple like that. Had two chillers go down on a luxury cruise ship so they flew us out and found the Carel controllers had flamed out. I wrote up a program on a couple of Reliable DDC controllers and threw them in. Had it all running again in 24 hrs.

We are able to get whatever alarms we want, look at the staging, carry out compressor rotation the way the engineer's wanted, get pressures, temps, status's - the whole shooting match. They love it.

Did it in a theatre as well. Had a Carrier recip bust an EXV. The cost of replacing the EXV was more than if we threw in an aftermarket EXV and changed the controller. We stuck in a DDC, wrote up the software and haven't looked back.

you can try a new controler from Renu Electronics Pvt Ltd India.
