Condensate lift pump

I was doing some servicing today on splits, chlorinating drain pans and bucket pumps etc. Wouldn't it be good if you could test a unit's lift pump from a setting on the remote controller.

Maybe you can and I don't know about it, if anyone does I'd be grateful to learn. (Daikin/Mitsi eg.)

Daikin easy life it is then :D:D:D

Option 1 (all daikin indoors with internal pump)
Switch the unit on in cooling mode and the pump will operate when indoor is thermo on, the float switch is only used as a sefety device.

Option 2 (vrv indoors with internal pump)
Switch off controller
Select fan only
press test button until test is displayed on controller display (3 or 4 times)
Switch on controller and pump will operate

On the modern mitsi heavy units (R410a) you can run the pump from the test button menu on the controller (wired)
