Excuse my lack of knowledge in this field.
Anyway, I'm after software to read the temperatures of fridges. I have learnt that Thermo king use some called Wintrac (?) which does there units as well as the newer transcans and euroscans.

However, I cant find any information on what software is needed for carrier fridges.

Also, does anyone know where I can get some of the cables needed in the UK? The dealers are looking £60 for a single cable.

wintrac is fine for TK.
What recorders are your carrier units operating . transcans euroscans? you will need the software and 1 cable and will be ablt to download. there is also a handheld which you can plug in and transfer data, that's that easy the washdown boys do it.

You need "Reefer Manager" and cable part no 22-01690-00 from carrier.

You want a thermograph (euroscan-group.com) , or diagnostic software?
