From my experience only, (there may be other opinions) Alco, the best. Danfoss, I have change a few over the years but not many. Parker and Sporlan gave me more income.

Castel is the worth, I keep at all times, 3 or 4 coils.

You have to know that coils work with different voltages, 240, 110, 24 and 24DC.
Most common are those working at 240 ACV. you can use 240coil on instead of a 24ACV but you can not use an AC coil instead of DC coil.
If I remember correct, the hole is of different diameter.

Hi eng_ab,welcome to RE

The estimated life of a solenoid coil depends on field conditions, temperature, humidity etc. And in what application it is applied :)

Me i like using danfoss. Other makes have a higher failure rate in my opinion of course ;) .

Hi eng_ab,

I mean that I change them more often then Danfoss - I make more money.

But as Mark says, Field conditions will have their effect on the coil's life.

What about Hansen's coils ? I was really surprised about Parker and Sporlan's coil performance i thought there r the best manufacturers in this industry.
