Model is 253.7480240E, about 4 years old
Top freezer- coils are in the top and fridge temp is controlled by opening an airdoor. Adjusting this has no effect. Turning down the temp has no efect.

We have replaced the thermostat, checked for ice buildup, the evaporator fan is running well. Condesor is on the back and does not have a fan.
Coils are not dirty, door is sealing shut when closed.

If it is a ***** leak, wouldn't it be totally broken and warm all over (problem going on for a few months)

Is replacing the defrost timer worth it? And if that is what is malfunctioning, shouldn't the fridge be too warm as well? It just seems like an odd problem.

Thanks.

Sorry if I have misunderstood, but if as you have stated the freezer temp is 20C and the fridge is 30C surely you do have a 'warm all over' situation??
