I'm looking for an electronic control centre/monitoring station, which can be accessed via mobile phone technology.

The device should be able to accept a mobile SIM card & be capable of allowing a distant machine to be enabled/disabled, off a mobile communication sequence. The simpler, the better.

I'd be most grateful for any ideas, links & information for such devices, if they exist. Thanks so much.

Hi Desa,

Take a look at the daikin DS Net, this allows control from SMS or modem. http://www.daikinme.com/binaries/DS-Net_tcm185-81115.pdf

It's a pity i didn't know about these guys 2 years ago when retailers still had money to spend!! I'm looking to do a project with them using wireless monitoring, if looks really good, prices are good as well.
