I was wondering recently how rates might differ across the UK. Also what the work climate is like at the moment. I live on the Isle of Man where we didn't quite fall into recession fortunately. A few customers did tighten purse strings a bit but we still have plenty of work.
I am employed by a local company and get payed an hourly rate of around £16. I guess this equates to around 35k. My duties/experience are; 15 years install, service, repair, commission various a/c including splits, VRV, close control. Also familiar with control systems and 17th edition electrician.
Basically I was interested to know if this is comparable with any of you guys. It's coming up to pay review time.
I noticed on the job section on here that there was a vacancy paying £20.
