Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knows of a company that does the above?

Have seen different companies offering Spiralite (looks hexagonal) ducting that appears to be made of some kind of foam.

We have a client that wants his ducting exposed, and as such he needs it to be a feature. We would like to use Spiral ducting with the aluminum being the external skin. Previously we have done this by installing 200 mm diameter ducting then insulating with the standard foil backed insulation wrap then putting a 250mm duct over the top as a sleeve. This as you can imagine is quite time and cost prohibitive so if there is an external aluminum pre-insulated spiral duct manufacturer in the U.K available I would appreciate their details if you have them?

Cheers

In response to your question of you refer to your local Lindab supplier (previously CCL) they produce a product called Isol which is a fully insulated duct.
In their system the duct is surrounded by insulation and they encased- much as you described.
They have all the fittings, dampers & the like.

I specify this product frequently and believe that it will meet you needs. In my case we had the duct painted to act as a feature.
