hi every body i'm new to refrigeration, i have one question regarding recovery tanks. what is the requirement
in recovery tanks and is it not possible to use for
example 404a tank to recover exess charge in a
refrigeration system?

As long as the cylinder is designed for the refrigerant that you want to use then all should be well.

Avoid mixing refrigerants and do not overfill the cylinder at any time.
