Wow, I am almost speechless. Thank you so much Gary and Baycuclaudyu for posting those links. I absolutely love miniaturisation of anything if it is done well, and these were amazing. Can you imagine how much meticulous work went into the building of these machines, how proud would you be to be able to say that you built it? The big drawback of course is...OMG crash on landing !!! What a disaster that would be. Hope it never happens, they were both very clever pilots... fantastic.

saw plenty like these in the 80's at ainsdale classic car show. its held on a small airfield and at the end of the show, about 2 hours before dark there was a model plane show. scale working models of concorde, sr71, f15, lancasters, spitfires, mustangs etc. its not for me but the engineering in those things took more hours to create and assemble than the real things i'll bet. and remember, you can't buy these in a kit.

Saw a guy flying a model of the French Mirage jet,was awesome when he flew it at treetop height along the runway. When it was up in the clear sky without anything to compare the size to it could have been the real thing.
he also had a knat jet which the red arrows fly, stunning pilot skills, cool head and steady hand.
