Fujitsu Error code 016

Can anyone please tell me where I can find what error code 016 is. Someone else was asking about error code 017 and they were directed to airconwarehouse website where they have error codes listed, but upon checking the list of codes 016 or 017 did not appear!

Hello.
17 is connected with the compressor (more prcisely with the el motor inside). For 16 (high pressure switch has probably tripped) come out to the outside unit and look whether its backside (that with aluminium fins) is clean.

Model numbers are always handy when asking about faults.
But yeah, high pressure switch fault for most fujitsus for error 16. Error 17 is IPM error (inverter switching diodes that run the compressor)
Outdoor fan maybe not running, dirty condenser, or the a/c unit is mounted where it's recycling a lot of hot air on a hot day, faulty pressure switch etc.

This can vary from model to model. 16 is H/P switch, 1b (which can be mistaken for 16) is another fault which can relate to the outdoor fan or even the sizing of the unit.
