Hi to all
I am currently working on a refrigeration assignment and would like some advice on the following acroyms. CCAP & HCAP
These two terms are included in the following equation:
COOLING COEFFICIENT OF PERFORMANCE = CCAP/POWER CONSUMPTION
HEATING COEFFICIENT OF PERFORMANCE = HCAP/POWER CONSUMPTION
I would appreciate it if somebody could define there terms.
Thanks in advance.:o

Hello Toosh
Thanks for your comment.
Fortunately I understand how COP is derived through Q/W, but my query lies with the acronyms as Im not sure what they stand for. i.e CCAP & HCAP.
I probably didnt word the query properly in the first place.
I would like to know if CCAP could mean wither cooling coil actual capacity or cooling capacity actual performance.
Thanks again.
