anyone else having the same problems?

i have had untold leaks on the above packs due to space drilling holes into headers rather than using pulled tees.
i have had 3 different packs go in the last week wouldnt be so bad but they are a nightmare to repair:rolleyes:

i thought pulled tees were outlawed by the supermarkets inthe 90's. they were stronger than drilling however, as long as the guy brazing them up did it thoroughly. i used to come across many that weren't. the problem i think was that the collar thinned when pulled out, and that the inserted pipe wasn't inserted far enough. this was mainly on co-op packs and morrisons kit. not too sure who built them though. best solution even though time consuming was a header built of cut down tees.

PULLED T S are under f gas regs now illegal however you need to hammer any manufacturer that is burning into manifolds on new packs

Which packs are causing the problem, the roof top with attached condenser or the remote condenser type?

EMBARESSED or do you mean embarrassed.....i dont feel embaresssed about anything this forum gives us a window to gain information from others out there in the field. And as for things getting out of hand, read your own post above, by coming on and personally attacking someone then end it by saying THINGS GET OUT OF HAND is a joke. If you want to pm me i am sure we could discuss this further if you wanted to :)

just feel things can go too far with rumours etc only trying to plead for commonsense and careful consideration before placing such words online offering to shake hands  no way attacking only asking for all of us to be careful what is posted. im sure an other retort will come back but like i stated this is not intended for anyone individual but all of us me included.
