Hi Guys, just wondering if anyone has installed one of these outdoor units and would it work on an RSXY10HJ7W1 ?
replacing the r22

Hi Croc,

Have a look at this thread, I think you will also need to replace the indoor units.

thank you for reply.
i will try and put link up that i read on daikin site regarding this.
it quotes you only have to change outdoor unit.

The trouble i have is a client of mine has an old g series 13 years old that was installed when house was built.

main pipe work is under foundation lol
rest of pipe is under floors, they dont want floors up.
3 storey house with no risers grr, very poor desin so looking for solution.
changing just the outdoor would be the best option.

yes i did thanks sync, did you read my link from daikin site?
just wondering if anyone here has any more info or has used this abroad

like obi says on g series you would have to change indoor units to but on daikin site it says you wouldnt if its 1996 or later and g series is is that year.
guess i will speak to daikin on monday and see what they say and how much lol

Currently available end of febuary but then a six week wait for shipment from Japan (middle of april).

I believe DUk are getting the first lot in before then and having them installed into selected customers as a show case test bed thing
