Happy 2010 everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has had problems with LG GR-P207DTQ. Has a small panel on the door with (bar graph type) led's to indicate where you set temps for both sides, and also one led each below ice cube, water, crushed. This panel doesn't have any active electronics just the push switches and the led's, connected to all singing and dancing PCB on the roof. Customer can't change any settings, temperatures or ice making functions. On power up, there are a few bleeps and changes before it settles down to showing three leds on each frz & fridge, and randomly decides which ice function. Apparently another co. have changed the main PCB and it didn't work so they said it needs door display panel. This is rubbish because the door panel doesn't do anything, and anyway it wouldn't go wrong on all functions? Anyone come across this please. Thanks

It's not something as daft as child-lock being actvated is it?

Thanks Martin but there is no mention of child lock in the customer's handbook.

Can anyone point me in the direction of an LG agent in the UK to get spares from - thanks

I have a similar problem with my LG model GR L 207CVQ - changed the main pcb but this has not stopped the beeping with temp lights for both sides going up & down!!

Should start first with the obvious things like sensors. If that fails then the chip cant initialize (boot up).
Also did you try the diagnostics ?
