I want to learn change the R22 and new gas for R 134 a it is imposible or not? The chiller is Carrier 30 GH prodialog plus .

Choose match to R22 gas as same as R404a or 507

yes 404 is the one you will need to do a lot of work,oil valves etc,forget 134

No,to change R 22 with an new gas with the same properties is R407 .All u need to change is the oil .

My customer requered is 134a only.Because the another gas is the mix.R 404 a or R 407c.I now the carrier 30GB chiller is old model has r 134a.İf the prodialog plus has to gas selection it"s a possible.
I think so ...

I don t think have a selection for R134.In these condition must to change allot of pieces in the sistem .What type of compresor do u have ?

Hi yasar,in 30 GH chiller has thermistors and transducers. Its software has designed for F22 refrigerant. So you can’t replace the 134a gas. If you replace this, you will face many alarms. In addition if you replace 134a than f22 to any other applications (without processor board) you will lose 30% capacity. better matching to F22 is F407c(should be replace the oil).404a is using for low temperature applications.
