I am a refrigeration mechanic in oz and i am looking to move to the London at the end of 2010. I was wondering what the job situation is like over there and what is the going rate for a technician with 10 years experience within the commercial sector.

Have you got your 2079?

If not: rates of pay are irrelevant:cool:

hi, get your safe handling up to date, prove yourself within a company , you should earn between 30 - 50 k with o/t as a refrigeration engineer, not sure on a/c

Yeah, Uk pay rates are crap you are better off staying where you are as the pay works out to around 45k - 65k Aus dollars a year inc overtime.

hi halls engineer the pay rate here is far better than down under if you work with the right company, a good fridge engineer will earn 50k which equates to over 100k auzzie dollars.
i work with 2 auzzie engineers who love the pay here !
