Hi,

Been having some problems with my unit. Firstly THe unit wasn't blowing hot air. So I turned off the unit from the mains and turned it back on but still no joy. So i called out an engineer to come and have a look. He came and told me its a board that has gone.

So i said ok.. get the replacment. But I havent seen him since and its been over 2 months now.. :(

I dont know what he has done to the unit cos it doesnt even power on now.

Can anyone please help me... It is sooo cold in my store. I think the staff will go on strike if i dont do something very soon.

Thanks

If the unit doesn't power on now then the chances are that he has switched the isolator off (manins power) to the unit until the board arrived.

Silly question but have you tried ringing him or the company he works for?

You need to shout louder when you contact your 'your man'.

If he won't help then try someone else from a reputable company.

yeh, been trying every week to get hold of him. He was a sole trader, but the only contact i had was his number.

I think if he hasn't contacted you after 2 months then you can be fairly sure that he isn't coming back.

I'd look into getting somone else to look at it, someone reliable.

Hi,

I've found the paper work for it. the problem is the power board and the low ambient baord need replacing.

Are they fairly easy to change?

thanks

For lg spares contact:

http://www.lgcomfortcooling.com/

Very reputable and fair on prices.

You will need an engineer to fit the boards but it is not a big job.
