I have an 1994 integrated fridge freezer. The freezer is cold and the fridge is cold but at maximum control and still shows warm on indicator. The plate at the rear is frosted and does defrost from time to time...what is the problem please.

Knocking on a bit that one!suggest you remove whole appliance from fitting and thoroughly clean condenser (black radiator looking device),it may be at the back on those earlier ones,most integrated are underneath now.
Could also be compressor wear or loss of refrigerant.
Run it free standing for a couple of days to see if the performance improves.
